The new store on Pumicestone Road offers a range of new features including an orange juice bar, pet food bar, dessert bar and bread slicer.

Coles Caboolture Store Manager Anthony Hauser a long-serving Coles team member of almost 30 years said he was excited to be leading the new store team and to be giving back to the community through recruitment.

“Nearly three decades ago, I started out at Coles collecting trolleys and today I am proud to help open a brand-new store in Caboolture,” he said.

It’s been rewarding to be able to provide more than 100 new jobs with 27 transferring from other stores to join the team.

“The community have already been incredibly welcoming, and the team are excited to open the doors and welcome local customers in.

“The new store offers more choice, convenience, great value and an enhanced shopping experience for Caboolture residents.”

The store will also welcome 23 Indigenous team members who participated in Coles’ Indigenous pre-employment training program which aims to recruit, train and support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander team members, and provide mentoring for the first six months of their employment.

Anthony said the location of this new supermarket is prime, given its direct access straight off the highway, and will benefit the rapidly growing Moreton Bay population.
