A welcome cheque

The Woodford Senior Citizens Club presented a cheque of $1,090 to the Woodford Community House during the Club’s meeting at the Woodford RSL sub-branch, on March 5.

Billy Higgins and Victoria Greenwood attended as representatives of the Woodford Community House, while Woodford Senior Citizens Club member Ken Steer presented the cheque.

The money will go towards food hampers, purchasing supplies to keep the community pantry stocked, and for other Woodford Community House activities.

The Senior Citizens Club converges at the Woodford RSL sub-branch for social purposes from 9am to noon on Tuesdays.
