AFLW stars to visit Fernvale

This Saturday will be a big day for the Brisbane Valley Rattlers AFL club, as numerous activities take place at the club’s season launch at Fernvale Sports Park.

The club will host its sign-on day, and it will also be the start of the Auskick program, while special guests include some premiership-winning Brisbane Lions AFL Women’s (AFLW) players with the premiership trophy.

The sign-on and season launch start at 10am while a footy clinic, raffles and prizes, and a jumping castle will be on offer.

The canteen will be open, while a sausage sizzle and icy poles are also available.

Auskick will run from 9.30am to 10.30am, for children who turn five this year.

The first Auskick session will be free, as it is a come-and-try scenario, while the eight-week program costs $90.

A footy pack and a ball will be included for those who take part in the full program.
