Are the Kilcoy roadworks finally finished?
It appears the Kilcoy roadworks may have finally been finished to a stage which allows the free flow of traffic through Kilcoy township’s Central Business District.
The road was opened up on Friday afternoon (30 April) and remained open over the long weekend.Signage has been installed at the approaches to the Central Business District (pictured) indicating the roadworks are “clear” but several barriers and speed restrictions still remain in place.
It is understood there is still streetscaping work to be done but business owners, residents and travellers will all be hoping this won’t require lane closures or traffic delays and that pedestrian access can be opened up to full capacity as soon as possible.
