Award-winning agents know how to close sales
RE/MAX Living agent Greg Jacobi claimed the second position in the Australian network’s transaction-based ranking and the third for commission generated with the announcement of the network’s six-monthly awards, and broker owner Kathy Sweeney joined him in the top five individual awards.
Mr Jacobi (pictured) said forging a successful real estate career required the support of peers and mentors, along with the trust of sellers and buyers.
“This achievement is the result of developing skills across many areas, of building and maintaining relationships and data bases, of having an up-to-the minute grasp on the local real estate market and communicating that well,” he said.
“It is the result of giving every client the best possible real estate experience,” Ms Sweeney added.
RE/MAX Australia Managing Director, Joel Davoren, said real estate customers could be confident they were dealing with the industry’s best when they dealt with the Burpengary/Woodford-based sales specialists.
“It is the agents who are genuinely focused on forming honest and lasting relationships with their customers that achieve greatest business success,” he said.
Announcement of the awards coincided with the RE/MAX national mid-year event where the network came together online to hear top presenters including Simon Pressley, founder and managing director of Propertyology and a Hall of Fame Inductee of Real Estate Institute of Australia, and Ollie Ollerton, star of Channel 7’s hit show SAS, speaking at his first ever real estate event.
The day closed with the announcement of Australian award winners.
“While we’ve heard some negativity about market conditions, and no markets ever stay exactly the same,” said Mr Davoren, “our six-monthly awards achievements show them to be very robust.
“We are seeing markets in very good positions right now.”
