Hayley Van De Van, Cheryl Scanlon, Chloe Alley and Jacqueline Graham were among the line-up of talented women who spoke about what they had achieved in their chosen fields and demonstrated for other women how goals are attainable.

BPW Caboolture president Vicki Wood said it was very heart-warming and inspiring to know that the community hold International Women’s Day in such high regard and they want to celebrate women and diversity.

“International Women’s Day is a global day celebrating the social, economic, culture, and political achievements of women,” Vicki said.

“The day also marks a call to action for accelerating women’s equality.”

Vicki said the panel speakers were “amazing” and shared valuable knowledge and experiences with the attendees.

“Hayley Van De Van and I have a long history, working for the newspaper I would take photos of the house of the week that she was showing.

“It has been wonderful following her journey to become the director of the Limitless Group and owner of the highly awarded and Ranked #1 & #2 RE/MAX offices in Australia.

“BPW is all about enjoying the successes of other women and watching and learning from their journey such as Hayley’s.

“Cheryl Scanlon is in a very visible leadership role. Ms Scanlon is a woman that works in a male dominated field and has risen to the top through her own determination and abilities.

“Chloe Alley is the epitome of Young BPW women. She started her business at 11 years old and three years later won a national award and has been able to watch her business thrive.

“And the president of one of the strongest women advocate groups in the world, our own BPW Australia president, Jacqueline Graham in her own right has more than 20 years’ experience in professional leadership in corporate and franchise retail and sales organisations.”

Vicki said BPW Caboolture has been going for more than 30 years and there were many familiar faces in the crowd on the night, including a number of past presidents.

“BPW is a global organisation with more than 90 years of history advocating for women and equality.

“Whether it is mentoring, networking, learning or just surrounding yourself with like-minded people BPW Caboolture is a great community to be part of.

“We pride ourselves in showcasing the strength of women.”
