Hundreds are expected to take part in the car and bike run after more than 200 participated in the inaugural event in 2021, before more than 400 turned up last year.

The event will undergo some changes this year, as the drivers and riders trek from the Archer Falls Airfield (on Neurum Road) to the Harlin Hotel, after previously travelling from Woodford to Kilcoy and back.

Some attendees are expected to come as part of the convoy, while others attend the afternoon activities only.

Another change this year will be the addition of pig races to the entertainment on offer, with five races held on the hour as pigs are up for auction.

Live music will be played throughout the day and night while there are also jumping castles, raffles and lucky door prizes.

Monies go towards the event organiser, the Jackson Hepner Foundation, which provides personalised hamper gifts along with other items that may help young cancer sufferers throughout their treatment.

Tickets are $10 each, and can be purchased at the gate or at the hotel entrance (for those who are not part of the convoy). No armband = no entry.
