Change of opening hours at Toogoolawah Swimming Pool
Somerset Regional Councillors adopted a recommendation to change the operating hours at the Toogoolawah Swimming Pool, adding an extra afternoon session on Wednesdays from 3pm to 6pm.
Toogoolawah and District Progress Association representative Kylee Isidro said this would give patrons additional hours across the entire season.
“For some time during the season in January the hours of operation for the pool were extended to 6am to 6pm,” Cr Isidro said.
“Patronage wasn’t that strong during the middle of the day during January so those hours are being re-allocated to a third afternoon each week across the entire season.”
