Esk seniors get free bus trip
A free bus service will be offered to Esk seniors, to help them get to and from Aqua Aerobics classes in Toogooalwah.
Somerset Regional Council is paying for a bus to take Esk seniors to Toogoolawah for aqua aerobics
The class is currently suspended, however group co-ordinator Patti Jeanke said she made the submission Somerset Regional Council for funding, in an effort to keep the class going.
Ms Jaenke said the bus can carry 20 passengers, and was offered by Out There Cycling.
“My job is to get 20 passengers on that bus every time, to repay the council’s support, we are very grateful for what they have done,” Mrs Jaenke said.
The decision was passed by Somerset Regional Council in its meeting today.
