Have a say in Moreton Bay regional future
PEOPLE can influence the future direction of Moreton Bay by having their say on the new Moreton Bay Regional Council (MBRC) Corporate Plan 2022-2027.
MBRC Mayor Peter Flannery said this document would become Council’s roadmap for success over the next five years.
Cr Flannery urged locals to complete the survey between now and May 16.
“As we look to the future, our Corporate Plan outlines the vision and goals for how we want our region to look and feel, and outlines how we will work towards achieving these,” he said.
“Overwhelmingly we know you want to celebrate our vibrant communities, protect and enhance our natural spaces, and support sustainable lifestyles, but it’s essential that you review this draft document to make sure we’re on the right track.
“Growth is happening all around us and we expect that to continue with a projected 210,000 people set to move to our Moreton Bay over the next 20 years.”
