Have your say on Kilcoy High School expansion

Somerset Regional Council is asking residents to have their say on three key projects at Kilcoy and Fernvale.

Council is consulting on the expansion needs of Kilcoy State High School, a masterplan for the Kilcoy Recreational Grounds and a masterplan for the Fernvale Recreational Grounds.

Somerset Mayor Graeme Lehmann said it was important for residents to have their say and help shape the future.

“Before we make any changes, we want to hear from residents to ensure we are catering for the needs of the community and those that use these facilities most,” Cr Lehmann said.

“The responses we receive will be considered and incorporated, where possible, prior to any decision being made.”

Residents have until 5pm, Friday, 30 July to have their say on the expansion needs of Kilcoy State High School and until Monday, 28 June to have their say on the masterplans for Kilcoy and Fernvale.

The surveys can be completed by visiting: www.somerset.qld.gov.au.
