National Tree Day in Schools
SCHOOLS Tree Day (Friday, July 30) is a great opportunity for schools to get inspired and learn about the local community while playing an important role in the Moreton Bay community.
National Tree Day (Sunday, August 1) is a call to action for all Australians to get their hands dirty, plant one or more trees, and give back to their community.
Keep an eye on Council’s website for tree planting activities. Council offers one free native plant voucher per financial year to property owners of residential properties.
Check Council’s website for community nursery locations.
To keep your own backyard trees healthy and thriving, you can access free mulch from Council’s waste facilities.
Check Council’s website for mulch availability at the various waste facilities.
