Optus to upgrade Wamuran network
As the Somerset and Moreton Bay region continues to battle poor mobile phone coverage, Optus has announced a 5G network upgrade is planned for the Wamuran area.
Optus will upgrade the Wamuran tower, similar to this one, with 4G/5G network capabilities
The telco said it will be installing two 4G/5G panel antennas on the existing 35metre high antenna pole at Wamuran, to the east of the town centre.
