State Member for Morayfield Mark Ryan said Minister de Brenni would provide local small

business representatives detailed information on the State’s ground-breaking renewable energy strategy.

“The Queensland Energy and Jobs Plan is good for the environment, good for business and good for jobs,” Mr Ryan said.

“I encourage all small business owners and representatives from the greater Caboolture region to come along on March 24 to find out how they can benefit.”

Minister de Brenni said people are the real strength of the Queensland Energy and Jobs Plan.

“Our Sunshine State is blessed with incredible natural resources, but it’s our people –

Queenslanders themselves – that are our greatest asset,” he said.

“The Queensland Energy and Jobs Plan invests in skills, training, and support for both our existing energy sector workforce and creating the new jobs and careers of tomorrow.

“Our plan will put downward pressure on wholesale electricity prices in the longer term, making retail bills for small businesses $1495 lower in 2032.”
