Enrolling sought at school
Kilcoy State School principal, Belinda Nash, is encouraging anyone intending to enrol their children at the school in 2024 to do so as soon as possible.
“As we move towards the end of the year, we are well underway in compiling classes for next year. At the moment, we need only a very small number of children to enrol to allow us to receive an extra teacher or class, reducing the overall size of some classes,” Mrs Nash said.
“If you know of anyone who has not yet enrolled, please ask them to let the school know as soon as possible. It will have a dramatic effect on the class make-up that we start with in 2024.
“Also, if you, or anyone you know will be leaving us in 2024, please let us know. This information is crucial in securing a strong and smooth start to the 2024 school year.”
The final class make-up will be determined by the numbers of children actively enrolled on day 8 of the new school year.
