Have a hoot at Powerful Owl
Brisbane Valley Kilcoy Landcare will host a talk on the largest of Australia’s owls – the Powerful Owl – from 10am to 11am at the Kilcoy Information Centre on Sunday April 21.
The talk will be conducted by Andrew Dinwoodie, who is the Brisbane Powerful Owl Project Coordinator for Birdlife Australia.
The talk will provide an overview of the Powerful Owl as well as how to identify the owl, its songs and calls and where it can be found.
Andrew will also give an overview of the Powerful Owl Citizen Science Project, offering attendees the chance to become involved in the project.
Everyone is welcome to the free event.
