Currently a branch club off Wamuran, the Caboolture North Lions Club Branch is seeking to be chartered by the middle of the year, and would welcome new members to help achieve this goal.

Meetings are held at Sporting Central, Caboolture, on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month.

The next meeting is next Wednesday (February 28), and attendees are asked to arrive at 6pm for a 6.30pm start.

Members and prospective members are not required to attend every meeting, as the focus is to help out in the community through activities, such as BBQs, markets and fundraising.

All funds raised go straight back into the community.

The club covers a large area from Caboolture to north Caboolture, Donnybrook, Toorbul, Elimbah, Moodlu, Beachmere and Beerburrum. Caboolture North Lions Club Branch president Michael Bierton said “We serve.”

“Serving Lions with a smile. Become a Lion and become a ray of sunshine into the lives of others.

“Lionism is a way of life Lions are hands on. I am proud to be a Lion.

I serve the people of the world.” Anyone interested is invited to attend a Wednesday meeting, or contact Michael Bierton on 0416 451 522.
