Improvements to popular Esk lookout
Somerset Regional Council has completed improvement works at Lakeview Park in Esk.
Improvements include the installation of seating and shade as well as the removal of some weed species and vegetation to improve the view from the lookout to Lake Wivenhoe.
Somerset Councillor Kylee Isidro said the improvements would make the park and subsequent lookout more appealing to locals and visitors to Somerset.
“The improvements have made a huge difference at the site and the view out towards the dam is stunning,” Cr Isidro said.
