Keep an eye out for flooded areas

Somerset residents are urged to keep a close eye out for flooded areas as many streets may have a section where it is unsafe to drive.

Kilcoy Murgon Road at Sheep Station Creek, Esk Kilcoy Road at Hazeldean, Cove Road at Stanmore, Creek Street in Esk, and Toogoolawah Biarra Road at Toogoolawah are among the roads that were closed this morning due to flash flooding.

Additionally, the Kilcoy Creek had gone over the bridge during the morning, while the highway was flooded between Kilcoy and Woodford.
