Kilcoy Cup ready to shine

The stage is set for the annual Kilcoy Cup to take place on Sunday, with the racecourse looking a picture for the Kilcoy Race Club’s marquee event.

At least seven gallop races are expected, and there will also be mini trots while extracurricular activity includes the usual raffles, and fashions on the field.

One of the jockeys to feature at the Kilcoy Cup for the first time will be Mitch Goring, whose family will travel from Victoria to watch him.

The Beavis and Bartels families will continue their sponsorship of the event for the 47th year, while Butler McDermott Lawyers also continues its long-term sponsorship.

Tickets will be $15 at the gate, and $10 if purchased online at kilcoyraces.com
