Kilcoy ready for first winter race
The Kilcoy Race Club will stage its first meet of the winter carnival next Thursday (June 29), which will be ‘Thunder-in Thursday’ race day.
Eight gallop races have been allocated, with the possibility of a ninth depending on the nominations and acceptances.
Entry will be free while there will be the usual Pick the Card $500 prize, and the $100 members’ draw (winning member must be present), and raffles.
Gates will open at 11am.
There will be a special free entry ticket supplied to all patrons, which will allow them free admission to Kilcoy’s subsequent race meet on Sunday July 2.
