Cheryl was returning home from a Christmas toy run event on December 17 when her life was tragically taken after her motorcycle was struck by a Suzuki Swift at the intersection of Morayfield and Caboolture River roads.

To honour the beloved grandmother’s life, Cheryl’s partner Peter and daughters Jessie and Stephanie requested a motorcycle cavalcade to escort her on her final journey.

Peter said Cheryl was such a down-to-earth person who would do anything for anyone.

Cheryl started riding motorcycles after meeting Peter “years ago” and “loved it”.

“Every charity run she was in it. No questions.”

“She loved riding bikes,” Peter said.

Fellow riders came dressed in purple to honour Cheryl, riding from Cheryl and Peter’s home in Caboolture South to Burpengary.

“She’s going to be really missed,” Peter said.
