A few days of rain expected

SOMERSET and Moreton residents can expect plenty of rain this Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, while more wet weather is also possible on the weekend.

The Bureau of Meteorology (BoM) revealed that more than 20mm of rain was expected on each of the three days at Caboolture through to Woodford, Kilcoy, Toogoolawah, Esk and Lowood.

Heavy falls are expected at times, with some towns possibly having 50mm or more of rain on any of the three days.

Residents are reminded to drive to the conditions and if it is flooded, forget it.

Conditions are expected to ease on the weekend, with a shower or two possible on Saturday and Sunday.
