Accident on quad bike in Mount Archer

A MAN in his 40s was airlifted to hospital with pelvic and abdominal injuries after he fell off a quad bike at a private property in Mount Archer on Wednesday, March 30.

The man was riding the bike at about 9.50am while visiting family at the property, when he went over the handlebars.

The man was treated by paramedics after Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) and Queensland Fire and Emergency Services (QFES) personnel arrived at the scene.

The RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter was tasked just after 10.30am, and landed on the property before the patient was flown to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital in a stable condition.
