Detectives seek help in Morayfield arson

Detectives from Moreton Criminal Investigation Branch are appealing for public assistance after two vehicles were destroyed by fire in Morayfield on Sunday, October 3.

Around 10.25pm a vehicle parked in the front yard of a house in Firetail Court was set alight with the blaze quickly spreading to a second vehicle parked in the driveway.

Police are appealing for anyone with any information to contact them with detectives asking local residents and business owners to check their CCTV feeds for a white Ford Territory (similar to the one pictured).

Detectives believe the occupant/s of the Ford Territory can assist with this investigation.

Around 11.30pm that night police attempted to intercept a white Ford Territory in Grace Crescent, Narangba with the vehicle failing to stop and speeding through local streets.

Detectives are asking members of the public who live in Firetail Court and Peterson Road, Morayfield, as well as Grace Cres, Regal Cres, Young Street and Forest Ridge Road, Narangba to check their CCTV for any vision of a white Ford Territory.

Detectives would also like a female witness, who spoke with firefighters at the scene, to contact them.
