Andrew Powell, State MP for Glass House, said with many roads still cut or under water, drivers should avoid driving in floodwaters.

"Please keep safe. If it’s flooded, forget it. If you don’t need to be on the roads, don’t," Mr Powell said.

"I have had reports of significant road problems, including on the D’Aguilar Highway at Wamuran. I have immediately brought them to the attention of Transport and Main Roads and they’re working as quickly as possible to fix them.

"Please keep reporting any issues to me at Glass.House@parliament.qld.gov.au or through Facebook or Instagram."
