Gregors Creek fires under control
After initially being treated as a ‘Watch and Act’ situation, the fires at Gregors Creek are now under control and burning within containment lines.
Fires in the Gregors Creek area are now under control
Rural Fire Brigade firefighters remained on the scene through Tuesday night, but with the fire burning through inaccessible areas, they did not attempt to control it further.
With the return of water bombing aircraft on Wednesday, crews remained on the scene, however by late Wednesday afternoon the remaining crews on site were engaged in monitoring the situation.
