Kilcoy Hospital Auxiliary fete cancelled
THE annual Kilcoy Hospital Auxiliary fete has been cancelled for this year, due to wet and boggy conditions at the hospital grounds.
The fete was set to be held this Saturday, May 28, but organisers decided on Tuesday morning to call off the event due to safety concerns.
Items donated for the auction will be collected as organised, and go into storage for next year.
The raffle will still be drawn as planned this Saturday, with winners to be notified on social media.
Some time in the next few months, the Kilcoy Hospital Auxiliary will have a stall at the Kilcoy Country Markets to sell off the Pick a Boxes which have been wrapped.
Some include food items which will not be kept for next year.
The Kilcoy Hospital Auxiliary hopes the event returns next year, and is thankful for all of the support it receives.
