Lockdown lifted but masks still essential

WEARING a mask remains mandatory in south-east Queensland until July 16, after Queensland recorded four new locally acquired cases of Covid-19 as of Monday morning (July 5).

All four cases were linked to existing clusters, with three of the cases found in hotel quarantine.

This comes after Somerset and Moreton Bay were among the regions that were forced into lockdown from 6pm on Tuesday June 29 until 6pm on Friday July 2, with Moreton Bay and Brisbane also subjected to an additional 24-hour lockdown.
