New committee for Kilcoy District Progress Alliance
KILCOY District Progress Alliance held their Annual General Meeting on 24th March 2021. Thank you to the many community members who attended.
Somerset Mayor Cr Graeme Lehmann and Councillors Helen Brieschke, Cheryl Gaedtke and Kylie Isidro welcomed the incoming executive as follows: President - Sally Wright. Treasurer - David Dunn. Secretary - Katrina Wolff and Committee member rep - Sue Ellis
Who is KDPA ?
We are a volunteer group who provide a platform to facilitate actions and events in our local community. In the past we’ve managed the Kilcoy Yowie Country Markets and donated to local groups such as the Kilcoy Fire Brigade, Kilcoy Art Society, Kilcoy Country Companions, Cricket Club and the Christmas Carnival.
A member of the Somerset Regional Council is present at our meetings thereby ensuring clear communication between residents and council.
All residents are warmly welcomed to attend our meetings.
Town beautification, Christmas town festivities and Kilcoy Aquatic Centre extended season are some of the issues on our agenda for the next meeting, Thursday 20th May 2021, 5:30pm at the deck, Kilcoy Art Gallery.
