Postponed working bee in Lowood

GARDENING enthusiasts are invited to help out on Saturday (September 4) as a working bee takes place at the Lowood-based Jensens Swamp Environmental Reserve.

The working bee was scheduled for August 1 before a Covid-induced lockdown in south-east Queensland forced the event to be postponed.

Lowood District Residents Network Inc. is staging the community gardening event, to keep the park and gardens in an immaculate condition.

Participants are asked to bring their own gardening tools and protective clothing, and to wear closed in shoes.

Proceedings are from 9am to 2pm, and lunch will be provided.
