Various Moreton Bay roads have been closed due to the amount of water on the road, including Hume Road (Caboolture), Buckingham Road at Monkeybong Creek (D’Aguilar), 181 Buckingham Road (Delaneys Creek), Rasmussen Road (Neurum), Litherland Road (Upper Caboolture), Basin Road at R Sampson Road (Wamuran Basin), and Old Cove Road at Blackrock Creek (Woodford).

Wet road conditions have also impacted Esk and Coominya, with Esk Dental Centre and Coominya transfer station closed today because of staff being unable to get to the workplaces.

Meanwhile the water level gauge reached 4.5 metres at Stanley River at D’Aguilar Highway, Woodford, about 2.5 metres above the usual creek level.

Moreton Bay Regional Council has advised minor flooding could occur if the level reaches five metres.
