Region escapes lockdown
IN A boost for the long weekend, residents of the Somerset and Moreton Bay regions have escaped lockdown.

The reprieve may prove to be temporary, with another two COVID-19 cases identified in the last 24 hours, however at this stage Moreton Bay residents must continue to obey Level Two restrictions, including wearing masks in public.

NRL fans are also impacted, with Ticketek automatically refunding the last 13,000 tickets sold, to achieve the maximum 75% capacity regulation.
