Showers set to ease off, sun likely to return
Much of the Moreton and Somerset area is likely to have mostly fine weather on Friday, following showers on Wednesday and Thursday.
A downpour left a torrent of water flowing through the gutters in Mary Street, Kilcoy, on Thursday afternoon.
Several areas including Kilcoy had a downpour on Thursday afternoon.
The Bureau of Meteorology (BoM) indicated there could be a shower or two in the Caboolture area on Friday, while there was only the slight chance of a shower in Woodford, Kilcoy, Toogoolawah, Esk, Fernvale and Lowood.
Temperatures on Friday are likely to be around 27 or 28 in most of these areas.
