Barbecue food will be available between 10am and noon, while stalls will include aspects relating to mental health, Telehealth and cancer.

A local ukulele group will provide entertainment, and another component of the event will be an explanation of the upcoming changes and expansion at Caboolture Hospital.

The auction is sure to be highly anticipated as a mini package features a neck tie once owned by Sir Joh, and a book titled Feeding the Chooks.

The book documents the well-known sayings of the controversial politician whose reign as Queensland Premier lasted from 1968 to 1987.

An organ is also sure to be highly sought after, at the auction, and a quilt raffle will also be drawn.

All monies from the event will go to the Kilcoy Hospital Auxiliary staff and patients.

Anyone wanting to contribute to the fete, whether it’s donating items for the stalls or volunteering for a couple of hours, is asked to visit the Kilcoy Hospital Auxiliary facebook page or simply turn up on the day.
