Smart solutions for rainwater
TAKING UP a position with Natural Water Solutions has enabled Sandy Creek resident Fay Wilkinson to help people in the Kilcoy and surrounding districts to benefit from an in-demand chlorine dioxide product called CleanOxide.
Fay said she was pleased to be the authorised Queensland distributor for the Perth-based Natural Water Solutions, selling CleanOxide.
“My goal is to promote the business right here in the Kilcoy area, bringing access to this amazing product range, along with promoting reputable outlets to sell and distribute throughout Queensland,” she said.
The business opportunity arose somewhat unexpectedly after Fay’s husband, Glenn, was searching for a solution to clean the water in their tanks.
“We didn’t want to empty the water due to the drought, and we then heard about chlorine dioxide,” Fay said.
“The next day Glenn informed me that the only place he could find chlorine dioxide, having looked on the internet, was in Perth.”
He had been on the phone for an hour.
“I said to him that it sounded like a great business opportunity.”
Fay felt it was timely to discover CleanOxide at a stage when viruses and disease were commonly discussed.
“Even though the new form of chlorine dioxide is becoming more known in the industry, it’s still relatively unknown for what it does and the benefits of using CleanOxide over other products and the broad range of uses,” she said.
“Taking the form of gel, tablets, powder and liquid also benefits different forms of applications.
“I believe this timely opportunity is a blessing for us and the Kilcoy community.
“Not only do we have products to clean bacteria and viruses in our water, but also in the air around us.”
Fay said that Kilcoy Rural, Duffy’s Mitre 10 and Wamuran Produce and Hardware have jumped on board to support the CleanOxide range.
