Smoke rings valleys
Smoke from a number of fires is blanketing the upper Brisbane Valleys this afternoon.
Fires are burning along Monsildale Creek Rd, above Linville, this afternoon.
The fires, believed to be Hazard Reduction Burns on a number of properties, are producing plenty of smoke haze, but do not appear to be posing any risks.
A number of fires were burning across land along the Brisbane River on Mount Stanley Road and along Monsildale Creek Rd, near Marsh Causeway.
Drivers in the area are recommended to slow down near the fires, and to take care when driving through smoke.
