THE wait is nearly over for tattoo and motorbike enthusiasts in the Moreton Bay and surrounding area, with the Tattoo and Motorbike Show taking place at the D’Aguilar Hotel on Saturday.

There will be a strong community feel as the event is about bringing the community together, while raising funds for the Mount Kilcoy-Sandy Creek Rural Fire Brigade.

Last year was the first time the event took place, when funds were raised for Delaneys Creek Rural Fire Service.

Viking Breed Social Motorcycle Club (VBSMC) organisers are keen to expand on last year’s event.

It is expected there will be 13 categories in the tattoo show and 13 in the bike show, after there were nine in each segment last year.

Other attractions again include stalls, prizes, meat trays, raffles, auctions, food and drinks, and live music.

The cost to attend is a gold coin, and the cost to participate is $10 per category.

Proceedings start at 10am, and finish at about 5pm.

Attendees are advised that the Tattoo and Motorbike Show is a cash only event.
