Week-long extension for wearing a mask
MASKS will have to be worn for another week in the Somerset and Moreton Bay regions, after Queensland recorded three new community Covid-19 cases in the 24 hours leading up to Thursday morning (July 15).
Masks need to be worn until 6am on Friday July 23 in the Noosa, Sunshine Coast, Ipswich, Logan, Redlands, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Scenic Rim and Lockyer Valley local government areas, in addition to Somerset and Moreton Bay.
Wearing a mask in these areas had been compulsory until Friday July 16, before the extension was announced on Thursday morning (July 15).
