Lilydale Invitational Charolais bull sale tops at $15,000

Bird Hill Samson, Lot 19, topped the Lilydale Invitational Charolais Bull Sale at Toogoolawah Showgrounds last Saturday.


The top priced bull from Bird Hill Charolais Stud, Blenheim sold for $15,000 at the Lilydale Invitation Charolais Sale at Toogoolawah on Saturday, July 15 and was purchased by Eskdale Station. In its 16th year, the Lilydale sale, one of the earliest in the bull sales calendar, attracted a large crowd with the majority of bulls selling to local producers  and repeat buyers to average $7,043.
