Temperatures are likely to hover around the mid 20s while heavy falls are expected in parts of the region.

A spokesperson from BoM said south-east Queensland was on flood watch, with the Caboolture River among the catchments likely to be affected, along with the upper and lower Brisbane River.

According to the BoM, anything from 20mm to 45mm of rain could fall in Caboolture on Tuesday, while falls at Kilcoy could be anything from 15mm to 35mm.

At least 15mm is also forecast for Toogoolawah and Esk, while anything from 20mm to 50mm is possible in Fernvale and Lowood.

Drivers are reminded to drive to the conditions and if it is flooded, forget it.
