Open day Saturday for gymnastics club
The Kilcoy Gymnastics Club will stage an open day in Kilcoy and Toogoolawah this Saturday.
The Kilcoy Gymnastics Club’s open day will be staged this Saturday, with the morning session in Kilcoy and the afternoon session in Toogoolawah.
Proceedings will take place from 9am to noon at the Kilcoy Indoor Sport Centre, and from 2pm to 5pm at the Toogoolawah Community Gym.
Head coach Grace Kotzur said the day would provide “a bit of a taster” as attendees could try out various programs, while parents could chat with the staff about what was on offer.
“The kids can play on the circuit while the coaches supervise,” she said.
Grace said the Tumbling, Ninja Parkour, Women’s Artistic Gymnastics (WAG) and Men’s Artistic Gymnastics (MAG) circuits would be set up.
Grace said there would be an increase in programs at Kilcoy and Toogoolawah compared to last year, including Ninja skills, and beginner tumbling and trampolining.
