Playitt back in action Australia Day
HAPPY Playitt New Year Everyone!!
Playitt is raring to go with a big kick off for 2023 planned for Australia Day, January 26.
All the usual suspects will be back with a musical flourish.
If the past few years have taught us anything, it’s that resilience is the Aussie second name and judging by the enthusiasm of the Playitt regulars to whom I have spoken over the break, we have it in spades!
Same format, same service, same great music will all be the order of the day, with Darryl stepping up to handle club liaison, and keep the wheels in motion.
I sincerely hope everyone had a safe, peaceful and enjoyable Christmas and New Year, sparing a thought for the victims of those very public tragedies that occurred right on the doorstep of what should be a joyful family time for everyone, and for the families who have been so cruelly deprived of their precious members.
In the words of somebody significant; “Be there or be square”, Woodford Bowls Club, Webb Lane Woodford, every Thursday from 6pm, free entry.
Bar and great meals available and the warm welcome we have come to expect will be there for all. Come along, say hello, and help nudge the restart into top gear.
