Playitt delights Woodford crowd
Well-known artists such as Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley, Cold Chisel, Patsy Cline and Dr Hook were some of the inspirations for our very talented walk-up artists and band members last Thursday.
Regular performers filled a varied program with their usual flair and included Kiwi and Montana, Carmel, Fay, Richard, and Chrissy to name a few.
Our next theme night will be on February 29, and we will celebrate film and stage musicals. A lot of scope there, so we look forward to an enthusiastic response.
All of the usual volunteers did their usual splendid work, dotting the I’s and crossing the T’s and producing the usual fi ne evening of entertainment.
Come and join the fun at Woodford Bowls Club, any Thursday at 6.30pm. Bar and meals available, free entry, and musical variety second to none!
