Brangus steers $1,620 at Woodford

303 head were sold at Stariha Auctions Woodford cattle sale on Monday, 14 June, 2021. For most the market remained firm to last week’s strong rates, with vealer heifers slightly easier.


Larry Williams, Kilcoy, sold a pen of Murray Grey cross heifers for $1,540.

Michael Bond, Mt Pleasant, sold Brangus steers for $1,620.

Darcy Pratten, Mt Kilcoy, sold Brangus weaner steers, 7-8 months, for $1,310.

Cody Hennessey, Moorina, sold Charbray weaner steers for $1,520.

John Hopper, Wights Mountain, sold a line of Droughtmaster weaner steers for $1,455.

Cooljazz Pty Ltd, Stanmore, sold a pen of Brangus steers, 9-10 months, for $1,350.

Lance Blatchford, Elimbah, sold Brangus steers and male calves for $1,250.

Roberts Hardwood, Woodford, sold Limousin cross male calves for $1,195.

Katrina Makings, Mt Pleasant, sold Charbray cows for $1,490 and Charbray cross steer calves for $1,195.
