Charbray weaner heifers $1,400 at Woodford
263 HEAD were yarded at the Stariha Auctions Woodford cattle sale on Monday, 12 April, 2021. After good recent rainfall, the market improved from its already strong rates.
Lychees Farm, Bellmere, sold a line of quality Charbray weaner heifers for $1,400.
Ernest Mende, Yandina, sold a pen of Angus cows and calves for $2,600.
Mark Young and Evonne Manns, Linville, sold a Santa steer for $2,350.
Clinton Thompson, Beerburrum, sold a pen of Murray Grey cows and calves for $2,380.
Dale and Sharon Jones, Woodford, sold Limousin steers for $1,930, $1,710 and $1,460.
Mat Barnes, Anduramba, sold 8 month old Brangus steers for $1,435; 6-7 month old steers for $1,215 and vealer heifers for $1,060.
