Cows and calves $3,200 at Toogoolawah

In a small yarding of 450 head, there were great results for vendors at Shepherdson and Boyd’s Toogoolawah store cattle sale last Friday (11 June, 2021).


Charolais cross cows and calves sold to $3,200.

Charolais steers to $1,980 and Santa heifers, 16 months, made $1,450.

Charolais steers 2½ yrs account Gary Siedofsky sold for $1,980.

Trevor Kelloway’s Brangus steers 15 mths sold for $1,620 and Santa x for $1,670.

H and D Farming’s Charolais cross 12 mths steers realised $1,560.

Edwin Cooke’s Santa steers 8 mths sold for $1,430.

Tony Fitzgerald’s Charolais x steers 8 mths sold for $1,440. Eskdale Cattle Co. had 8 mths Droughtmaster x steers at $1,380.

Gary Siedofsky sold Charolais x cows and calves at $3,200.

Paul and Ros O`Brien sold Brahman x aged cows and calves at $2,475 & $2,450.

Tony Fitzgerald had Charolais cows and calves at $2,500.

E and M Cooke sold young Brahman x cows and calves at $2,150.

Ron and Copie Hall of Cloncurry sold PTIC Brahman cows @ $1,780 and $1,680.

Stanley River Grazing Co. sold Droughtmaster PTIC cows for $2,250.

Len and Wayne Davis sold 18 mths Charolais x heifers at $1,650.

Peter Simpson had Angus cross heifers 10 mths for $1,450.

West Holdings had Santa heifers 16 mths at $1,450.

Ron and Copie Hall sold spayed heifers’ milk and 2 tooth for $1,430 and $1,400.

The second annual weaner sale is this Friday (18 June) with the next Toogoolawah store cattle sale on Friday 25 June.
