TOOGOOLAWAH Clay Target Club Inc held its monthly shoot on Saturday April 24, due to Anzac Day being the following day.

AA Grade runner-up Nicholis Feteklis with Louise and winner Daryl Stevens.

The occasion was the Jim Edmonds Day, with Edmonds having been a great member of the club.

He was the former secretary, handicapper, coach and an all-round lovely guy, but get on the wrong side of him and he would quite happily put you in your place.

Edmonds’s daughter Louise presented the prizes.

Shooters came from Brisbane, Surat, Gold Coast, Toowoomba, Central Burnett, Kingaroy, Warwick, Majura Park, Chinchilla, Barcaldine, Ballarat and Darwin.

The day was a 120 Target Continental Graded Meterage, which was one of Edmonds’s favourite disciplines.

Big thanks go to Dennis Harwood for making and donating the Jim Edmonds Shield, which is made out of Red Cedar and looks amazing.

Thanks also go to Toogoolawah member Aaron Marsh, who sponsored the shoot.
