Seven scalps for Marley Helliwell

Burpengary did not need to make a bowling change as Maleny crashed to 26 all out in 13.4 overs, and the hosts did not lose a wicket while achieving the target in 5.1 overs.

Marley Helliwell starred with 7/11 from 6.4 overs, while fellow opening bowler Steele Draper had 3/15 from seven overs.

Following his match-winning 110 against Palmwoods a week earlier, Stephen Helliwell raced to 26 not out while Rob Staplehurst made two not out.

Poor batting costs Burpengary in Div 5

Burpengary was all out in less than 32 overs as the hosts sank to a 27-run defeat against Glasshouse.

Glasshouse was in trouble at 3/32 before an unbeaten 44 from Adam Cronk helped lift the total to a respectable but far from daunting 7/135 in 40 overs.

Only two Burpengary batters posted double figures while none reached 20, and the total of 108 included 30 runs from wides and two from no-balls.
