Jeremy Schultz’s innings of 91 set up Glasshouse’s total of 7/238 in 50 overs, while Liam Moffett’s whirlwind 41 was also decisive.

A half-century from Glen Batticciotto kept the visitors in the hunt, before they stumbled from 2/105 to 7/160.

Having been Caboolture’s top wicket-takers earlier in the day, Connor Corlet and John Flew scored a quick 30 each to give their team a chance of victory, before the final wicket fell as 10 runs were needed from two balls.

Not enough runs for Caboolture in Div 2

A total of 6/118 in 40 overs was insufficient for home team Caboolture in Division 2, as Maroochydore won by six wickets.

The hosts paid dearly for slow scoring, having been 3/32 after 20 overs before showing more urgency afterwards.

Caboolture’s innings included 10 maidens, with Jake Spannagle taking 1/10 in his eight overs while two of his team-mates had 1/19 from eight overs.

A half-century from Maroochydore opener Jack Parker enabled the visitors to win with nearly 15 overs to spare.

Caboolture skittled for 66 in Div 5

Sean Lucas and Jason Law were the standout performers as USC demolished home side Caboolture in Division 5.

Law claimed four wickets while Lucas took three as the hosts were dismissed in 17.5 overs, with the 66-run total including 15 sundries.

The only wicket in the run chase was a run out, as USC was just six runs shy of victory.

Lucas was on 34 as the visitors won in the 15th over.

Caboolture gets the points in Div 7

Nick Sly and Alexlie Rose excelled with bat and ball as Caboolture enjoyed a comfortable 60-run win over USC.

Sly made 42 as an opener, although Caboolture stumbled from 1/53 to 5/96 before Rose made his first meaningful contribution of the match.

His middle order knock of 37, along with 22 from John Walkeden, set up a defendable total of 162 in 40 overs.

Sly bagged five wickets while Rose took three as USC fell well short of the target, while Matthew Ross nabbed two scalps.
